Paradise Island – Isla Gorgona

Imagine what a paradise on earth is like. Is it for you an island with palm trees? A white sandy beach with no other people? A perfect temperature, coconuts on the ground and waterfalls that provide a clean drinking water? Let us take you to this paradise.

POST QUARANTINE PLANS? Near Cali, a tropical beach lined with coconut trees waits for you with full board modern accommodation, delicious food served three times a day while you watch the waves break on the shore and on whale season you can spot whales from the beach!

Would you first eat shrimps plate or fresh fish in the traditional coconut sauce? Contact us to plan your trip for when travel is allowed again.

The whole island is a National Park which is why it is being preserved under environmental laws and the flora and fauna are protected. Diving and even just snorkeling in to the tropical waters around the island is like swimming in an aquarium. Innumerous amount of colorful fish, turtles, coral, sharks (friendly ones), octopus and lots more to see when you dip your head under the surface at a right spot. Get a mini course for first time divers in one of the best diving spots in the world or go with the local Padi diving instructor to explore the best parts of the blue waters as a certified diver.

Endemic species of animals and plants that can only be found from this one island. Animals that surround you during your visit and almost like they were posing for your pictures because they hardly have any fear of human beings. Then there is the dark side of the island, from the past. There was first a high security prison for the worst convicts. It once held over 1 000 prisoners plus a lot of personnel to maintain the place.
